August 7th-13th Cardinal LG, Amery will be participating in National Safe + Sound week. Attached is the flyer for the week and the different ways you can participate - all participation counts towards potential prizes & R&R points!

Here are the details:

Workplace Safety and Health Quiz - Complete the "Safety Quiz 2023"

“Eyes on Safety” Worksheet- Complete the "Safety Checklist" for one location of the plant (Lami Line A/B, GPC, Packing Line 1, Special Fab, etc.)

Velocity Reporting- Enter an actual Hazard/Potential Hazard on Velocity and assign the appropriate personnel to address the issue (unless you can safely take care of it yourself).

“Bird Hunt”- There will be little red Cardinal birds throughout the plant with numbers on them. If found, bring to the Safety Manager, Shift Manager, or HR Manager. You will be asked where it was found and what possible hazards exist near its found location.

AMLG Safety Bucks- Plant leadership and the Safety Committee will have Safety Buck cards to hand out on the floor if you are “caught” exhibiting safe work practices or behaviors. Turn these into your Shift Manager or HR Manager so you may receive an additional 25 R&R points to your balance.

Points will be given for each activity that you are participating in AND each participation occurrence gets you entered in for a prize drawing! This drawing will take place August 14th. This should be a fun week and a great way to get more involved in safety!
