The retirement administration industry has seen a recent increase in the number of fraudulent attempts to obtain funds or loans, especially from accounts that have not yet been set up. Registering your account with Principal to create a username, password and authentication questions can help protect against fraudulent attempts. We have included two documents below; “Account Security-Principal” and “New Participant flyer”. These documents provide detail on how to register, choosing a strong username and password, and protecting your account once it’s created. Please encourage team members to create their account with Principal if they have not done so already, and to login periodically once registered.
