June 2023 Profit Sharing Announcement

Congratulations on another SAFE month – we are well over 100 days (123) without an OSHA recordable and nearing 400 days since out last lost time incident. Jason Mitchell, our Safety Manager, just completed a CGI safety audit resulting in desirable scores, however, there are a few areas that will require our attention in the coming days. As we progress towards obtaining VPP status, you will see more and more people coming through to conduct tours; these folks may stop to ask you questions regarding our safety procedures and culture so be prepared.

The numbers are final for June and we had another great month landing us our 5th straight month at 52% profit sharing. These checks are dated for Thursday, 20 July. Our final sales were up an additional $275,000 compared to May, ending June with $6,773.950. Our steady labor continues to be a positive contributor to our success, coming in at 11.1% for the month – our OT hours did climb slightly totaling 882 total hours. We need to work hard to stay in control of our OT and make sure we are working on efficiencies as to not add unnecessary “extra” time.

We were just shy of producing 1.2 million SF (1,097,060 SF) with an overall yield at 97.41%. We continue to stay in control as Packing maintains pace for racks coming out of the claves – this has allowed us to be on time and complete to our customers 97.9% of the time. Overall, product continues to flow through the Plant smoothly and each of you should be extremely proud of these month end results.

The summer seems to be flying by and we are quickly cruising through another good month of production. We need to continue to cycle through vacations and make sure each team member is using this time to take a break and recharge as we know that business often ramps up as we near the fall. I ask you keep focused on working safely, recharge when you can, and let’s see if we can add another couple months of membership in the 52% Club.
